MarkishPrivacy Policy
1. Your documents
Markish reads and writes only the files you open, create or save, and the images you paste into them. Your documents stay on your device. We never send them to our servers or to anyone else. If a document contains images hosted on the web, Markish loads them from those websites, just as a web browser would. Those websites receive standard connection information, such as your IP address.
2. No accounts, no tracking
No account or sign-in is required. Markish does not collect usage data, analytics, advertising identifiers or crash reports. The markish.app website does not use analytics, and the browser demo runs entirely in your browser: what you type there is never sent anywhere. Components provided by your operating system, such as Microsoft Edge WebView2, are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. Data stored on your device
Your app settings are stored on your device. The start date of your free trial and a record of your purchase are stored only on your device (Windows Credential Manager / macOS Keychain). When you authorize the Markish VS Code extension, the app passes signed license information directly to VS Code on the same device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by the Microsoft Store or the App Store under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment information.
5. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version and its date on this page.
